Goût de / Good France, Initiated by Alain Ducasse and the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Development, highlights the French art of living and local products.
Inspired by Auguste Escoffier that started “Les Dîners d’Épicure” (Epicurean Diners): one day, one menu, served in cities around the world, to as many guests as possible, the event took the idea further, bringing all categories of restaurants together globally.
The second edition of Goût de France / Good France, taking place on March 21st and 22nd, 2016, will gather in this beginning of spring more than 1500 chefs from all five continents to celebrate French gastronomy. Dinners served simultaneously in participating restaurants will honour the merits of French cuisine, its capacity for innovation, and its values: sharing, enjoying, and respecting the principles of high-quality, environmentally responsible cuisine.
